Something Changes After Enough Trades: The Mindset Shifts of Experienced Traders

Why Experienced Traders Are Comfortable Saying “I Don’t Know”

There’s this thing in trading that nobody really explains at the start.

At some point, after enough trades… something shifts.

You stop feeling like you need to know where price is going.

Losses stop feeling so personal, and you become strangely calm making decisions that you know may well be wrong….

THE SHIFT

It’s something I’ve noticed again recently speaking with traders inside Traders Mastermind on our calls. And it made me realise…

Experienced traders are very comfortable saying:

“I don’t know.”

And they mean it.

Because trading isn’t really about predicting where price will go.

It’s about knowing what you’ll do if it does something interesting.

And sure, you need conviction in the trade idea… but accepting you’ll never truly know for sure is a real unlock.

I talk about a few of these shifts in a podcast episode.

It’s an interesting phenomenon and might help you make sense of it all if you’re on the journey.

Also, I’ve had this YouTube interview with Stanley Druckenmiller sitting on my watch list for a while.

He’s one of the greats, and whenever he talks about markets, it’s usually worth the time.

If you’ve got 30 mins, it’s probably worth a watch > Hard Lessons: Stan Druckenmiller

If you’re in that frustrating stage where you know a lot about trading but consistency still feels just out of reach…Sometimes the unlock simply comes from time in the game.

Stay firm…
