The New ChatGPT Browser “Atlas”. Is It Any Good for Traders?
I tested the new ChatGPT Atlas browser so you don’t have to. Here’s what works, what doesn’t, and what might actually help traders down the line.

So I downloaded the new Atlas ChatGPT browser the other day…
It was amazing. It basically traded for me and had a 100% win rate.
…No, just kidding. ![]()

Honestly, it was pretty poor.
I really don’t see much utility for traders yet. (sorry Sam…)
Apparently, it can do some research for you, and there’s an agent mode coming that might let it dig into reports or scan charts for things like:
“Hey, how did NFP move the Nasdaq over the last six CPI releases?”
That could be useful down the line.
But right now?
Unless you’re trading off fundamentals or constantly digging through economic data or earnings reports… It’s not going to set your world on fire.
AI BREAKTHROUGHS

Still, this is the world we’re in.
AI breakthroughs are like buses right? Nothing for ages, then three at once.
So, even if this one’s a bit of a nothing burger for traders, it’s worth keeping an eye on.
Now, I don’t claim to be an expert on AI… merely a trader who sees it as a support tool.
But as I said in my London talk, “AI-Enhanced Trading,” I believe there’ll be a short window where it gives a real edge before everyone else catches up.
We’re not there yet.
But it’s coming.
I’ve also put together a new AI for Traders page on my site, kind of a hub for all the AI-related tools, prompts, and psychology ideas I’ve shared so far.
If you want to get up to speed or start using ChatGPT in your trading process, it’s a good place to start.
