Crypto Crowd Psychology for Traders: A Reality Check
Why Bitcoin’s Price Tells You More About the Crowd
Than Any News Story

Home » Crypto Crowd Psychology for Traders: A Reality Check
I’ll admit I never really got that into crypto…
Maybe it’s the 40+ year old man talking.
Or maybe it’s the trader in me that’s seen plenty of weird sh*t in the markets over the years to know. Stay neutral, stay flexible.
I get it, I know why people love it, but to me it’s just another market, a potential trading vehicle.
Whether that’s BTC itself or the whole surrounding ecosystem like COIN, MSTR…
But what I do love about Crypto is the crowd psychology around it…
There aren’t many other markets where you get to see the group emotion of the participants play out in real time.
And boy is it playing out now on this current weakness…
Crypto to me is like a headline sports event, except it’s on 24/7 ![]()

THE CRYPTO CHURCH
As a trader, I know the only thing that keeps me alive in this game is my ability to cut when I am wrong.
Conviction? Sure.
HODL? No way!
So I find it fascinating to see the behaviour of the crowd in Crypto.
Characters like Saylor, the laser eyes, and the “adding more” posts.
And I get it, not everyone’s a trader, people have different goals and incentives.
But watching it all play out through the one thing that really matters, price, is like a psychology masterclass in real time.
I wasn’t going to record this one.
But the laser eyes, the cult vibes, the “add more here” crowd… got me thinking.
So I fired up the mic and shared a few thoughts.![]()

If you’re reading this post, you probably like to trade crypto… not preach it.
