The Three Horsemen of Poor Trading — And How to Defeat Them
Over-leverage, over-trading, and bad trade management: The silent killers of trading progress.

The three horsemen are always there…
Lurking.
Waiting for you to drop your guard.
Waiting to strike.
They don’t care if you’re new or experienced… if you give them an inch, they’ll smash you.
And they hit hardest when you’re growing… unless you learn fast.
Here they are:
THE THREE HORSEMEN OF POOR TRADING

#1 Over-leverage
The account killer.
No one wins all the time… no one.
Losers are inevitable. And if you’re swinging heavy size on a small account? A string of losses will wipe you out.
You’re not immune.
(Ask Mike Ashley. £200m down thanks to leverage… I talk about it in this podcast episode.)
#2 Over-trading
We’ve all done it.
Every flicker of price feels like a setup…
You think you see edge. You’re bored. You’re forcing it.
But price is often random, and that’s when you bleed capital and lose focus.
Edge is not there all the time.
Wait for it. Protect your energy. Pick your spots.
#3 Letting losers run and cutting winners.
Classic mistake.
You grab profit early… but let losers breathe.
Soon, your average win is tiny… your average loss is brutal.
You just can’t build consistency that way.
You need at least some asymmetric payoff to make this game work. (I dive into this properly in next week’s webinar)
Simple laws.
Hard to follow.
But they’re the line between growth… and pain.![]()

Put them at the front of everything you do in this business, and you’ve got a better shot than most.
