Invited by Pepperstone: A Day with Aston Martin at Silverstone
This summer I was lucky enough to be invited to a track day at Silverstone, courtesy of Pepperstone, who, as you know by now, sponsor the Aston Martin Aramco F1 team.
The day included driving the new Vantage and DBX, and if that wasn’t enough… wrapped up with an exclusive tour of the F1 factory. 🤤
After nailing the Vantage around the track and with the instructors letting us properly push the cars…I was in my element.
I’ve driven plenty of tracks across the UK, and honestly didn’t expect them to let us go full send. But after a few sighting laps and a quick confidence check… it was game on:
Track mode engaged. Paddle shift. Brakes glowing. 😈
Then came the bright idea…
Two 20-minute sessions in, we figured:
Why not do a flying lap while I explain a trading strategy… as a passenger… in a Vantage… with a British GT driver trying to drift, throw it around, and completely throw me off my game.
Silly? Yep.
Fun? Absolutely.

What a day! The driving, the factory tour, the goody bag… top tier from start to finish.
