4 Steps to Detox Your YouTube Feed and Reclaim Focus

Clear Out the Noise and Turn YouTube
Into a Tool for Trader Growth

Ah, social media, the double-edged sword…
The algorithm sucks you into clicking junk, but every now and then, you find real gems.

If you’re like me, you try to dodge the time-wasters but still want to learn, stay sharp, and find high-quality trading content.

Snapchat? Probably not your thing.
But YouTube? That one’s sneaky.

It can be brilliant, some top traders drop serious value for free.
But lately, it’s turning into:

🥱“How I Made $45K Before Breakfast”
🥱AI bots that “never lose”
🥱Lambo bros selling options on stocks they can’t even pronounce.

If your feed’s becoming a clickbait wasteland, you’re not alone.

Here’s how to clean it up:

4 Steps to Fix Your YouTube Algorithm

👉 Go to YouTube > History
Delete any videos you clicked out of curiosity that don’t reflect what you actually want to see more of.

👉 Click the 3 dots on bad recommendations
Choose “Not Interested” or “Don’t Recommend Channel” on the recommendations page.
A few of these go a long way.

👉 Use Incognito mode
If you’re researching random stuff or just watching for entertainment, go incognito so it doesn’t mess up your feed.

👉 Train the algorithm
Like, comment, and watch more of what is good. Subscribing (and hitting the bell) tells YouTube exactly what you want more of.

Your feed is either fueling your growth or rotting your brain… might as well hack it in your favour!

I know this isn’t classic trading content, but protecting your focus and attention is part of the game.
A clean feed = a clearer mind.
